Founded in 1982, Chain & Rigging Supplies Ltd has grown steadily to match the demands of a changing market. Today the company's diversified product range and services includes chain, rope, lifting gear, shackles, hoists, stainless steel items, wire rope, exclusive brands of lifting equipment - and one of New Zealand's largest and most modern test bed, with a pull capacity of 1549 kN (158 tonne) and a pull length of 10.75 metres.

To meet customer requirements the product range continues to expand as we import quality goods from around the world, including from Australia, France, China, Japan, Taiwan, USA, England, Germany and Korea. Goods are distributed throughout New Zealand to our increasing customer base.

The company has been a member of Lifting Equipment Engineers New Zealand Incorporated (L.E.E.N.Z Inc.) since 1996, and customers can be assured that all lifting gear we stock and service is up to New Zealand standards, and where applicable, international standards.

At Chain & Rigging Supplies Ltd we test all types of lifting gear and provide test certificates, complete with computer illustrated graphs of the test results. We will also send out a reminder letter just before your gear is due for re-certification, which is automatically generated from our computer data base.
